Bloom Book: 001 Beautifully Insignificant

Bloom Book: 001 Beautifully Insignificant

Last night, the words beautifully insignificant came to my mind. Instantly, I wrote them down.

This is how a lot of my ideas come to me. It could be a phrase, a word, an idea, a look, or a person, and instantly, a whole thought process begins to develop.

To me, beautifully insignificant is life. It is the parts of life that we deem mundane, the things that simply have to happen, or the things we don’t care about all the time. But if you take the time to really notice them, you realize that their very existence contains beauty.

If you appreciate life, you understand that in order for certain things to exist in this world, they had to go through a process. Nothing simply appears here. Everything we see had to go through some kind of process before it could exist.

We don’t always take the time to look at the sky because it is always there. But on the days when clouds cover it, we miss it. That is beautifully insignificant. It is always there, and it is always beautiful, but nobody cares until it’s gone.

Sometimes, love is like that. People are like that. We don’t appreciate the beauty of these things until we no longer have access to them.

That is my take on beautifully insignificant.

Eventually, I’ll probably elaborate on it. Maybe I’ll come up with a story about a girl who exists, but nobody really cares about her. Then she disappears, and all of a sudden, the world is no longer beautiful because she is no longer here. Something along those lines. I don’t know yet.

But beautifully insignificant is something I want to hold on to. So, I’m going to park it right here because everything is now something to write about.
